Blackberries

There were a few blackberries ready to pick today. It’s the easiest crop to grow if you give it a sunny spot, something to climb, and decent soil. Plus, the honey bees and other pollinators appreciate the flowers. We have the bees to thank for our bumper crops. I planted two more thornless plants this year so that we had more to share – nectar for the bees and berries for the folks.
